The Nintendo DSi XL comes out on March 28; the Apple iPad on April 3. Both are essentially bigger versions of things that already exist, but how much of an improvement are they really?

There has been much talk about gaming on the iPad, but not a whole lot of delivery.
In fact, I can only think of one game that I know of that will be made specifically for the iPad: Trism Spinoff. But even that didn't have much in the way of details.

Apple's over-sized iPad will be hitting stores in the U.S. on Saturday, April 3 for WiFi models and later that month for WiFi plus 3G models. All models of the iPad will be available in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland and the UK in late April.

Earlier this week iTunes dropped a banner on the front page of the Apple iPhone and iPod Touch download service to promote some of the IGF Mobile finalist and honorable mentions. Well played, Apple.
Wired Getting iPad Version of Magazine [Print Is Dead]

Perhaps feeling the collective pinch of being in a dying industry, Conde Nast plans to do what they've been hinting at for weeks: Bring their magazines to the iPad.
The first magazines to hit the Ipod Touch XL from the publisher will be Wired, GQ, Vanity Fair, The New Yorker and Glamour, the New York Times reports, based on a leaked memo.

Apple has taken swift action against applications in the iTunes Application Store. The reason: Apple says that it has done so because some women and parents have complained.
