Out for a jog on the Willamette today I was passed by a kid, riding no-hands on a BMX bike - and doing Sudoku. If that's not multitasking, I don't know what is.

I'm off in about 10 days. I'll be in here next weekend though. Here's some highlights of this one:

Every three or four years for most of my adult life I get hit with this bizarre, and very nasty, stomach bug. It usually hits me in the evening and has in the past always results in my being taken to the emergency room where a doctor declares that he has never seen anyone as dehydrated as me.

We've got a guy here with an upset stomach. It's not pretty. The man is in his 30s, I think. Black hair. About shoulder length. He says he's been feeling ill since last night. Hasn't been able to do his job most of the day. Called in sick. He thinks it might be something he ate, but it's not clear. Sort of a mystery malady.
